La-ti-Da Music

La-ti-Da Music Babies, Tots and Kids classes offer:
•    Musical bonding for mom, dad, your little ones, siblings, caregivers and grandparents alike.
•    Classes designed for children Babies or Tots class and caregivers regardless of your musical skill. Classes incorporate music, movement, singing story time, puppetry, parachute play, bean bag fun, and interactive play with parent/ caretaker and child nurturing your child’s natural love of music. Small children love the enticing songs, colorful props, and getting to do "Drum Boat" Songs in Miss Aubrey's GIANT DRUM!

You even get a great music cd of some of the songs we use every week so you can enjoy the music at home! 

•    La-ti-Da Music is based on the Orff-Schulwerk method of music and movement. It is not performance based and it’s not a model for musical perfection. It is simply a music and movement approach to early childhood music development based on research in early childhood music education.

La-ti-Da Pajama Classes: (ask about adding this evening program in your area)- not currently in session but available by request.

A music inspired hour in the evening where you and your child can come in your pajamas; let the music and dancing tickle your senses… then settle into your night with lullabies. With the same benefits as La-ti-Da Music in the a.m. but great for working families. The evening is the class ends with a calmer tone, more lullabies and families can come in pjs to leave ready for bed.

Curriculum: La-ti-Da Family Music Classes are thirty five–forty five minutes long and include an artistically conceived flow of songs, nursery rhymes, instrumental jam sessions, fingerplays, and movement activities including parachute play, bean bag fun sing-a-story, giant gatheringdrum songs, "drum boat" songs, lullabies and puppetry.  The combination and types of activities are research-based and support children’s developing competence in tonality and rhythm.  Additionally, activities evolve from the child’s world and include vocal play, animal sounds, rhythm play, language play, and a good bit of genuine fun.

Family Music Class Terms and Tuition

Classes:

45 min weekly classes for ages newborn to 5

Classes run year round with four 10 week sessions.

Duration

Designed as a 3-5 year course of study, each year four sessions

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

Session Tuition:

One payment: 10 weeks= $145+tax or Two Payments of  $78 +tax 

(1 due before session and 1 at week 5)

Material Fee: $18 per session includes a cd of the music used in class.
